Missio Dei Wrigleyville

MD Kids Family Vision

The mission of MD Kids is to partner with parents to show and tell the good news of Jesus to our kids. Our aim is to shepherd the hearts and minds of the children of Missio Dei Wrigleyville by intentionally stewarding the time we have with them. We also desire to equip our parents to thrive in their role as the spiritual leaders of their children by providing take-home resources, practical tools, and encouragement on a regular basis. Our hope and prayer is that we begin to see families being transformed and living on mission together as disciples of Jesus.

Sunday Morning

MD Kids is currently available to children from birth through 5th grade. In the front foyer, you can sign your children in starting at 9:45 a.m. Children can then join their parents in the sanctuary for the first part of worship. After a prayer of blessing, they will then be escorted down into one of our classrooms where they will play games, do crafts, and learn from scripture in a fun and engaging way. Children can be picked-up by a parent or guardian after the service.

Our current guidelines for children attending MD Kids:

  • Children 4 and up must be potty trained
  • Masks are optional for children & volunteers
  • Children and volunteers must be free of all sickness and symptoms
  • Wash hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival
  • There is an air purifier in the classroom
